Glenn Arthur Lecato Williams passed away September 8, 2019. He was born on March 13, 1964 to the late Sonny Williams and Finetta (Micky) Lecato Butler, in Flushing-Queen, New York.
He grew up in Salisbury, Maryland and attended Maryland Public Schools and graduated from Wicomico Senior High School in 1982. Glenny, known by his family, was a joyous and happy young man. Glenny participated in many activities while he attended Weeping Mary Full Gospel Church. He was also an active member of the youth usher and choir. He later attended Christian Faith Full Gospel Church under the leadership of Apostle Robert and Apostle Carolyn Douglas.
He loved working, building houses and doing carpentry work. He worked for Carnival Cruise Line as an electrician and then with Chesapeake Shipyard. On February 10, 1987 he became the proud father a daughter, Sherina Antone born in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Williams in 1979 followed by his loving mother Finette Lecato-Butler in June 2008.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his only daughter Sherina Antone, his two sisters, Andrea Renee Waters, (Gerald) and Mekita Denise Butler; two aunts, H. Louise (Beanie) Harmon and Dorothy Lecato Saul; 2 nephews, Gerald L. Waters, Jr (LaKisha), and Blair Louis-Jean Waters; 3 nieces, Zakia Desha (Kee-Kee) Waters-Wright (Kema) Ny’Jah Louis-Jean Waters and Tanika LaShay Waters; 5 great nieces Ca’Mari Waters, Zaria O’Neal, Jay-laa Waters, Jamonii Waters and Kynlii Cunningham; 3 very special cousins, Maxine Lecato, Patricia Contee and Kevin Lecato and a host of other relatives, extended family and friends.
A reflection of the life of Glenn A. Lecato-Williams will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 1 pm at Stewart Funeral Home by Holloway and Downey, P.A.
