Obituary of Kenneth Alan Baugh
Kenneth Alan Baugh, departed this life on July 29, 2018 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center Oncology Unit. Born on April 26, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia, he was the youngest son of the late Mable Jackson Baugh and Eugene Marion Baugh, Sr.
Kenneth received his education from Wicomico County Schools graduating from Wicomico High School in 1968. He was active in track, (cross country) and basketball. He was inducted in the US Army on March 5, 1969 with a tour of duty in Vietnam until February 24, 1971.
He was a man of few words and very outspoken. He loved his family and he loved the Lord. He was employed at Campbell Soup for 26 years, until it’s closing. He worked at various jobs afterwards Toroid (supervisor), Standard Register, MaTech and Cadesta until retirement.
Special memories of Kenneth will be cherished by his wife together for 24 years married for 14 years, Jo Ann McNealy Baugh; two children from a previous marriage, Kenneth (Jessica) Baugh, Jr. of Florida; grandchildren, Devonte’, Darrin, Vanessa and Zoe; one great grandchild, Cane; daughter, Janel Baugh of Texas; step daughter, Nyesha Rene Everett; two step grandchildren, Adonis Bright and Gianni McCray; one sister, Diane Baugh (Dennis) Harlee of Baltimore; one brother Eugene “Pete” (Debbie) Baugh of Berlin; cousins, Rachel Gale, Faith Fields; a very special niece, Zena Bell and special cousins, Annette, Ella, Lisa, Jermaine and Wilsie Elzey, Peggy Taylor, Fred (Cathie) Jackson, John (Doris) Morris. Also left to cherish his memory are a host of cousins, in-laws, extended family, friends and co-workers.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Jackson of Salisbury and Billy Jackson of Virginia Beach and two aunts, Conolia Jackson Morris and Lillian Jackson Gale.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 2 pm at Stewart Funeral Home by Holloway and Downey PA. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 11 am at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD.
