On Friday, January 26th 2018, our loved one Theodore Palmer at the age of 67 departed this life and entered heavenly rest. Born on August 3rd 1950 in Salisbury, MD, he was the son of Joseph Palmer and Dorothy Trader Palmer.
Theodore was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He attended Wicomico County Public Schools. He also successfully completed Job Corps in 1969. Theodore retired from Perdue Farms in 2013 after 40 years of employment. He returned back to work part time from 2013 until his departure.
Theodore was a fun, loving and kind person. He would help anyone in need. He enjoyed listening to his music and loved his family. He especially enjoyed spending quality time with his children and grandchildren. He will be most remembered for his extraordinary singing voice.
He leaves behind loving memories with his wife, Margo Palmer; one daughter, Nakita Palmer of Salisbury; one son, Barry Harris (Alexis) of Philadelphia, PA; two grandchildren, Supreme Green of Baltimore and Drake Clark of Salisbury; one great grandson, Zyier Propst of Winston-Salem, NC; three sisters, Juanita Palmer, Rosalee Palmer, Normalee Horsey (Tate) all of Salisbury. He also leaves to cherish memories two brothers, David Palmer (Donna) of Fruitland, Norman Palmer of Salisbury; one aunt, Beulah Hutt of Salisbury and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Theodore was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Randolph Palmer and one grandson, Deion Shakier-Imani Harris.
He will be truly missed by everyone he knew.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Enoch Church, Rockawalkin Ridge Rd in Salisbury. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm.
